The Grammy nominated Blues-American singer/songwriter and author announces her new album Hard to Kill coming June 24 via her own Fathead Records. Her sixteenth studio album, her first release in three years, Hard to Kill is a boldly honest and affecting collection of songs that sit on the bedrock of blues, soul and funk with eleven original compositions and a cover of John Hiatt’s “The Last Time.” One of the preeminent voices in contemporary American roots music with widespread critical acclaim from Billboard, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter, Downbeat, No Depression, and many more. Only the second woman to receive the Blue's Foundation's B.B King Entertainer of the Year award.
