Nikos 'NIVO' Vourliotis is the frontman of Goin' Through, one of the most influential hip hop groups in Greece and Cyprus, as they have released 11 albums, 3 soundtracks, and several CD compilations & singles during their 20 years long career, while they have also performed live countless times in front of thousands of fans, in & out of Greece (USA, UK, Cyprus, Holland, Germany, etc). During these 20 years NIVO has collaborated with the top list of Greek Record Companies, (BMG, UNIVERSAL MUSIC, EMI & Sony Music), and also with elite artists list, such as Anna Vissi, Despina Vandi, Giorgos Mazonakis, Antonis Remos, etc. In his 2004 album, titled 'La Sagrada Familia', which was awarded a Golden Disc, NIVO personally secured the involvement of Guru (leader of Gangstarr & Jazzmatazz) who 'believed' in the group and contributed lyrics to one of the songs. In their album, called 'Vendetta' (which was also became certified gold while its leading single was downloaded legally over than 200.000 times) NIVO - once again - personally achieved to persuade 7L & Esoteric for a joint record expanding his catalogue of international collaborations. His record label 'Family The Label', has been releasing Hip Hop & R&B records since 1997, which brought together elements of the mainstream as well as the underground Hip Hop genre. He is recognized for the popularization of hip-hop music in Greece while he became the face of the genre in multiple publications, tv shows, and blockbuster films.
