Biyografi
Slump6s writes about a broad range of emotions and conveys them with purposefully unsteady cadences further characterized by his piercing melodies. The rapper/singer caught on in 2021 with the BabySantana collaboration "Antisocial," signed a major-label deal, and issued Origin, his first full-length, all as a high schooler in his native Rochester, New York. Namil Bridges grew up surrounded by music, spending time in his father's recording studio and picking up drums, woodwinds, and brass instruments as he went through school. Inspired by XXXTentacion and Ski Mask the Slump God, he started uploading tracks to SoundCloud while in eighth grade, and in the process gained experience as a recording engineer (a role he would continue to fill). Slump6s' first commercial recordings arrived in 2020, with several stand-alone tracks capped by the six-song 16 EP. The next year, he and BabySantana connected for "DAKOTAROMANI" and "Antisocial," the latter a rambunctious cut that took off with streams quickly eclipsing ten million. Slump6s secured a deal with Republic Records and turned up the intensity for "Origin," his solo major-label debut, followed by Origin the album, featuring the dismissive "Moment." He continued in 2022 with singles such as "Presidential," "Chrome Hearts Jacket," and "Own It" arriving as his featured appearances rapidly increased in number. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
