Adiós Cometa es una banda de San José, Costa Rica, formada por Jonathan Villalobos, Emanuel Mora, Mark Murillo y Pablo Matamoros. Su música toma elementos del shoegaze, dream pop, post-punk y ambient. A inicios del 2021 la banda firmó con el sello independiente Velvet Blue Music, de Huntington Beach, California, hogar de artistas como Starflyer 59 y Fine China. El EP debut de la agrupación, La Isla Que Somos, fue lanzado en del 2021 vía VBM. Un Split EP con Isla Invisible fue lanzado en agosto del 2022. La banda se encuentra produciendo su primer disco de larga duración.

 Hailing from San Jose, Costa Rica, alternative rock four-piece Adiós Cometa, made up of Jonathan Villalobos, Emanuel Mora, Mark Murillo and Pablo Matamoros, whose friendship and common musical experiences brought them to form the band in 2019 with the aim of creating, through ‘mucho reverb, chorus y delay’, an equally melodious, introspective and melancholic sound, that joins the dots between shoegaze, dream pop and post-punk. 
 In early 2021, the band signed with Californian label Velvet Blue Music (home of bands like Starflyer 59 and Fine China). Their first EP, La Isla Que Somos, was released on March 5th, 2021, via VBM. A Split EP with Isla Invisible was released on August 2022. The band is currently working on their first full-lenght album.
