    The Cali Satellites came to be in a Los Angeles recording studio in early 2017. 
 Members Wicks and Gock have had a long and celebrated musical history together as two highly awarded and regarded screen composers. 
 As the Cali Satellites, they are in passionate joyous creation and collaboration mode, working with some extraordinary talent from breakout new artists to celebrated tour de forces. 
 Their songs are slabs of guitar laced electro pop, with echoes of 80s synthwave and some sprinkles of west coast indie cool, delivered with unapologetic pop hooks to a musical backdrop that travels from feelgood grooving to roaring electronica.
