“Her Absence Fill the World” is a Berlin-based post-punk/darkwave duo, consisting of Kubi Ozturk & Sascha Kimel and standing on the dichotomy of two different dualities. One is their cultural backgrounds of Ankara and East Berlin, and the other is their musical tastes of indie / art pop and darkwave / EBM. So the music of Her Absence Fill the World aims to make the listener dance the night away as much as it desires to pull apart and sonically recreate the human psyche, utilizing hypnotic grooves and hard-hitting beats, combined with siren-like vocals and abstract lyrics. Releasing their first two EPs, “Part-Time Punk” and “Neon Arabesque” from Detriti Records in ‘20 and ‘21 respectively, the band has since spent the summer of ‘22 debuting their sound live; playing in underground clubs and at international music festivals. The band is currently gearing up to close the calendar year with the release of their third EP “Dead Hands” from Orecula Records, consisting of their online hit songs pressed in vinyl for the first time and brand new tracks The Crow and Give Me My Ground. by Yigitcan Erdogan
