Chrisye was an Indonesian progressive pop singer-songwriter. In 2011 Rolling Stone Indonesia declared him the third greatest Indonesian musician in history. Over his almost 25-year career with Musica Studios he recorded a further eighteen albums. Chrisye has won numerous awards throughout his career. Chrisye has released 31 albums in his lifetime, one of which has released Guruh Gipsy, 21 studio albums and 9 compilation albums. All his solo albums after Sabuda Alam sold over 100,000 times. He was named a favorite singer of the Indonesian Army.
