    Swedish four-piece group, Attentat, drew their inspiration from the British punk movement in the mid to late 70’s, reacting to both the left-wing progressive movement that dominated alternative culture in Sweden at the time and the glamour of Abba and disco. They rebelled against the simplistic black/white polarity of 70’s Swedish society, and they're still rebelling today, against the growing right-wing movement and the increasing injustices of modern Swedish life. Formed 1978 as the Frogs by Jönsson (Mats Jönsson, vocals/bass), Paddan (Magnus Rydman, lead guitar) and Grodan (Martin Fabian, rhythm guitar), all in their teens. The line-up was completed when 13-year-old Dag Wetterholm joined on drums. Inspired by The Clash, Sham 69, The Buzzcocks and The Sex Pistols, glam-rock groups like Sweet, T Rex and Slade and local new wave/punk pioneers Bruset and Göteborg Sound, the foursome began writing and rehearsing songs. The debut came in 1979 with the single ”Ge fan i mig”, and has been followed up with many acclaimed albums and singles. Their music instantly found its way to fans and they have stayed loyal ever since. And even though Attentat have played countless of gigs and recorded tons of music the band show no signs of slowing down. Autum 2019 they delivered the top 19 album ”Punkhjärta”. In 2020 Attentat released two very attentive singels in cooperation with infamous actor Thorsten Flinck and the pioneer Swedish synthpop band Page.
