Despite the fact that Laura van Kaam has been making music for a few years now, “Better For It Now” truly feels like the debut single for the 23-year-old singer-songwriter & guitarist from Dinxperlo, the Netherlands. Over the years, Laura has taken the time to craft her own style within the modern country scene. As is customary in the genre, van Kaam sings about the things she has gone through in her own life, writing songs from a personal perspective where anyone can find a piece of themselves in. That’s why the songs are all so relatable. “Better For It Now” is produced by Nick Jongejan (The Young River), who also served as a co-writer on the track along with van Kaam & Rachèl Louise (The Bluebirds). The single is the first off of van Kaam’s EP, released in early 2022.
