AVI ON FIRE is the formation based around singer/songwriter and producer Bram Wesdorp making its mark in the Dutch music scene since 2016. What it sounds like? Wesdorp: “It’s Pop. Weird, catchy, slick. Dirty, honest, surprising. Ugly as the grins of your friends at an afterparty at 7am, soft and pink as the lips of your lover, pure and clean as the white of your eye. Original and done before. All of it. It’s Pop, in its purest form." First single Pearls and the 2 following EPs gained international attention and were streamed over 2.5 million times collectively. AVI ON FIRE played the 2017 edition of the ESNS Festival in Groningen, followed up by two clubtours in 2017 and 2018. A full length debut album is under way, made in collaboration with producer JJJ Sielcken (Jett Rebel, Lucas Hamming, Tape Toy), and will be released early 2020. The first single of the album, ‘The Cruel Teen Virgin Motorcycle Club’ will be released on the 23rd of august. A shoutout, a theme song, an Anthem for this mysterious club.
