Ostura are a Lebanese Cinematic Prog band formed in 2009, residing in Beirut, Lebanon. The current lineup consists of Danny Bou-Maroun (producer, keyboards, orchestration), Elia Monsef (producer, lead vocals), Youmna Jreissati (lead vocals), Alain Ibrahim (guitars), Dan Veall (Bass), Alex Abi Chaker (live show drums). The band is currently signed to Universal Music. They are credited as one of the leading bands in the Middle East in the Prog genre and one of the first bands in the world to combine Rock music with Film-score music. In fall 2012 the band released their debut "Ashes of the Reborn" independently to mostly positive reviews before signing to Universal Music 5 years later. Ostura released the long awaited 2nd album The Room, on February 23 2018 under Universal Music MENA. Recorded with a live orchestra, the album promises a bombastic Cinematic Prog sound, featuring artists like Arjen Lucassen, Thomas Lang, and Marco Sfogli. The Room was extremely well received by critics and claimed the title of Album of the Year for many.
