CAST/ Después de unos cuantos años de silencio, el nuevo LP de The Gundown ya está aquí. Llevan desde el 2008 cocinando su personal estilo de punk-rock “made in Tarragona”, mezclando influencias marca de la casa que aúnan diferentes tipos de punk-rock. Desde el clásico 77 de The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers y The Jam al power pop salvaje de Hüsker Dü. Después de sus dos primeros LPs (Endless Loads of Rage & Light up the Streets) y multitud de EPs y splits a lo largo de su carrera, The Gundown ralentizó sus apariciones en los escenarios en los últimos años, dedicando los dos últimos a la composición y grabación de lo que es su último trabajo, un nuevo LP de 12 temas (Dead End Alleyway) que definen y culminan a la perfección la línea de sus anteriores trabajos. They have been cooking their personal style of punk-rock made in Tarragona since 2008, mixing influences coming from different kinds of punk-rock. From the classic 77’s like The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers and The Jam to the wild power pop of Hüsker Dü. After their first two LPs (Endless Loads of Rage and Light up the Streets), several EPs and Splits in their career, The Gundown slowed down their live shows in the last 4 years, dedicating the last two of them to the composition and recording of their latest 12”, a new 12-track album (Dead End Alleyway) that perfectly defines and completes the line of his previous records.
