Rococo Disco is a Texas indie rnb duo pumping out the groovy tunes they would like to hear. The core members include Paul Chu (vocals) and David Soto (guitar/bass). The two grew up in Austin Texas and met while attending Texas A&M University. They started playing shows around Austin and have continued growing their popularity since. The group dropped their first EP in 2019 called Jaded. The EP includes local hits such as Honey Do, a harmony-filled tune with an infectious chorus, and Lial, a gritty expression about feeling jealous that has an amazingly funky bass line. Other popular singles include Lemon Drop, a moody tune with dense layers ,Cowboy Dreams, a fun cosmic cowboy frontier jam and Tan lines, a soulful rnb tune with soaring strings and nostalgic vocals. Next up? get ready for a song that sounds like gas station sushi!!! Their influences include... D’angelo, Still woozy, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Tame Impala, Stevie wonder, James Brown, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Marvin Gaye.
