Matei - Anton Aurel Eugen Ioan Florentin Vasiliu, (born October 30, 1984) better known by his stage name Matteo, is the performer and writer of the record breaking hit "Panama" with over 7M streams on Spotify. He is a European dancehall and reggae singer, rapper, songwriter and record producer. He founded and manages record company Mattman Music. Before music, among other jobs, he has worked as a senior graphics designer and GFX video editor. Born and raised in Bucharest, Romania, Matteo first became involved in music as part of the Apocalipss Hip Hop Group, that he founded with MC Bean. Matteo has worked on production and mixtape projects with many other Romanian pop artists, such as Loredana Groza, Taraful din Clejani, Marius Moga, Alex Velea, Smiley, Connect-R, Uddi, Delia Matache, Lora, Anda Adam, Anna Lesko, Corina, Deepside Deejays, Claudia Pavel (aka Cream) Lidia Buble, 2americani, Keed, Super ED, Rashid.
