Please 2003 is an emo band from Boston, Massachusetts. They formed in 2022 and established themselves within the local scene with their raw, honest lyrics and soaring melodies. Fronted by the enigmatic vocalist and lyricist, Jake Flaherty, Please 2003 has built an audience with their deeply personal songwriting. The band's lineup also includes lead guitarist Lucas Arons, bassist Sean “Chunk” Hickey, and drummer Ben Glasser. With influences ranging from John Lennon of The Beatles to Paul McCartney of The Beatles, Please 2003 creates a sound that is both familiar and innovative. Their debut EP, "I Live with My Dad," released in 2022, showcases their bare yet vivid songwriting. “Please 2003 has already mastered the feeling of melancholy that makes emo music hit so close to home.
