Proving that you can't always teach an old dog new tricks, From The Ruins are back and ready to shake the foundations one more time. FTR originally formed to play the kind of straight-up, heavy, metal-infused hardcore that the bands members themselves loved to listen to, and it turned out that they aren't alone in that love. Playing their first show in early 2002, FTR aim to destroy every show they play and to leave crowds battered, bruised and wanting more. FTR have been fortunate enough to play alongside Australian heavyweights such as Mindsnare and Day Of Contempt as well as international heavyweights such as Hatebreed, Madball and Terror. Despite being the second most isolated capital city in the world, From The Ruins set out to prove that Perth was not to be forgotten when mentioning Australian Hardcore. After an EP, two albums and numerous interstate tours, From The Ruins played their last show in April 2007... until now.
