My Own Ghost is a hard rock band with modern elements from Luxembourg founded in 2013. Since then My Own Ghost have released two albums, 'Love Kills' (2014) and ‘Life on Standby’ (2017), their second album having been produced by none other than Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, Apocalyptica, Amorphis ) and mastered by Svante Forsbäck (Rammstein, Sunrise Avenue, ||BulletForMyValentine||). 
 My Own Ghost toured with Delain (NL), LOUDNESS (JP), Tarja - Ballads (FI), Alter Bridge (USA), Serious Black (DE), Herman Frank (DE), Robin Beck (USA), Puddle Of Mudd (USA), Saving Abel (USA), And Then She Came (DE), Otep (USA) and Alex Band of The Calling (USA). In July 2019, they had the opportunity to work with renowned Belgian photographer Tim Tronckoe. 
 Described by Belgian journalist Geert Ryssen as a ‘full-blooded rock machine with a no-nonsense attitude‘, My Own Ghost lives up to that expectation by releasing the energetic ‘Footprints In The Sand’ on September 24th, 2021. Electronic passages set the song apart from the classic metal song and make it sound modern and fresh. The lyrics reflect the desire and will to leave your own mark in life and society and to not let yourself to get down or be dissuaded from your goal. A central theme in ‘Footprints in the sand’ is the ‘We’, the strength and power one can have as a community of people. More songs will follow.
