A self-described shy but social kid, Josh loved music from a young age but never planned on making a career out of it. It wasn’t until he turned 15 and discovered his talent for rapping and singing that he decided to pursue his passion full time. Inspired by artists like Tyler the Creator Travis Scott and G Eazy, the San Jose native developed his talent for fast, multi-layered rhymes sweet vocals, and infectious hooks. Early projects like “Wrong Timing” and “Midsummer Crisis.” put the young rapper’s raw abilities on display. However, it wasn’t until Josh paired up with producer Royy that he finally discovered a sound he could grow into. The duo’s collaborations are Josh’s most successful tracks to date, highlighted by singles like “Slow,” “Worth,” and “Dope.” With less than three years on any major streaming platform, 21-year-old Josh has already surpassed more than three million cumulative streams and has been featured on notable platforms such as the NBA 2k video game series.
