KANADIA are James Bettis (guitar/vocals), Tim Lucas (drums), Melissa Marshall (synths/keys) and Jack Ashworth (Bass). A four piece alternative rock band, renowned for their exciting stadium sized live shows on the Oxford music scene, with their cathartic songwriting style, which has resonated with their cult of followers from the UK to Mexico and everywhere in between. KANADIA's debut self titled album was released on 2nd March, 2019 to a sold out launch show at O2 Academy Oxford. KANADIA have performed at In It Together Festival, Truck Fest, Common People Festival, BBC Introducing, SoFar Sounds and headlining the O2 Academy Oxford multiple times. They have performed at venues up and down the country including The Bullingdon, Hare and Hounds, Night and Day Cafe,The Cellar, Jericho Tavern and Sunflower lounge. Ronan Munro, editor of accredited Nightshift Magazine (Radiohead, Foals, Glass Animals), has been a large advocate of the band. 2022 saw KANADIA release their second album, June in December. June has been praised for its raw and honest approach towards subject such as mental health. The LP is themed around moments of introspection juxtaposed against the large stadium-sized reverb drenched rock that Kanadia are building a reputation for. "By the time we get to the closing track 'Elysium', a cautious tranquility has settled upon the ravaged landscape. Shattered and bewildered survivors will make legend of the name Kanadia" - OMS Magazine
