A ritual artist, musician, and rabbi, Yosef Goldman's music is full of soulful longing. His original songs are sung in synagogues, schools, and camps across the country. Both contemporary and deeply rooted in the sacred music of both his Hasidic Ashkenazi and Mizrahi ancestors, Yosef's music is expanding the landscape of American Jewish prayer music. As a sought-after vocalist, Yosef performs and records with a wide range of Jewish artists. He is a longtime featured vocalist with Joey Weisenberg & The Hadar Ensemble and a founding member of the Middle Eastern Jewish music ensemble The Epichorus. Along with trombonist Dan Blacksberg, Yosef was selected by the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia for its 2018–19 Jazz Residency.
 Yosef has taught and led prayer in communities of every Jewish movement. He has served as a ba’al tefillah (prayer facilitator) for some of the most spiritually vibrant and creative Jewish prayer communities in the United States and Israel. He currently serves as co-Senior Rabbi for a congregation in Maryland, alongside his wife/co-rabbi. He also teaches around the country on contemplative prayer and singing as a spiritual practice. His debut album of original Jewish devotional world music, Open My Heart, was released in 2019 on Rising Song Records. His second album, Abita, will be out this fall.
