David Cooler 'aka' Dog Huntin' Man™ is an Independent Artist/Songwriter. He was recently featured on the John Boy and Billy show and played at John Boy's Booger Branch Ranch. He performed at the Ranch in October of 2019 & May of 2017 with plans of returning. In November of 2019 David opened a show for Confederate Railroad. He has been nominated for the 2015 Country Artist/Group of the Year for the South Carolina Music Awards. He is a three time nominee and two time winner of the 2008-2009 Carolina Music Awards Country Male Vocalist of the year. His vocals come from his soul and David has an EXTREME ability for making his electric guitar come to life! David is a native of South Carolina and has been playing music since he was 13 years old.His greatest inspiration in achieving his success was his mother which he proudly gives the credit. David's love for music, Skynyrd, and Hank Jr. influenced his southern rock/country style. His original songs reflect life as he sees it. His grassroots upbringing has kept him down to earth and his fans know and experience that country charm he has with everyone he meets. He started in local bands and turned songwriter/artist around 2001. He has opened for Rodney Atkins and performed many shows with Colt Ford. He has also performed at the Suwanee River Music Jam, in 2015, 2010, and 2009. David is certainly fulfilling his lifetime dream as an Independent Country-Rock Artist and Songwriter.
