A music career that began as a hobby - MIKEY C discovered music production in middle school. A pianist and percussionist, he performed in a variety of ensembles: Symphony, Jazz Band, Marching Band, Choir, Acapella, and Theatre Band. He auditioned at the Hartt School of Music in 2013, studying music production there until obtaining a Bachelor’s of Music Degree in 2017. A DJ career began in college, progressing from fraternity basements to venues all around the US. In 2018, Dutch record label, Spinnin' Records, signed and released MIKEY C’s remix of ‘Just A Kid’ by Two Friends. The remix was supported by Tiësto’s Musical Freedom, Big Beat Records, and was featured on Spotify’s Hot New Dance playlist. In 2020, MIKEY C released ‘Self Sabotage’ on Australia's Teamwrk Records. The song was featured on Marshmello’s “Keep It Mello” playlist. A second release with Teamwrk Records was “May I Have This Dance” w/ Lila McKenna. MIKEY C has performed at 60+ universities, 5 music festivals, and 12 cruises. Including opening sets for Daya, Hunter Hayes, lovelytheband, Felly, SNAILS, YOOKiE, the Pitbull Cruise and College Party Cruises.
