Formed in 1999, Handsome Devil (singer/guitarist Danny Walker, guitarist Billie Stevens, drummer Keith Morgan, and bassist Darren Roberts) landed a major label deal with RCA Records/Dirty Martini. Their debut album, Love and Kisses from the Underground (2001), produced by producer Ed Stasium (Ramones/Talking Heads) and Jeremy Popoff (Lit), featured the rock radio single and MTV video Makin’ Money. Handsome Devil released Knock Yourself Out (2003), which spawned the single/video Hello Somebody and a cover of Bette Davis Eyes. In 2007, the Handsome Devil toured Europe, closing with a run of military bases to perform for US and NATO forces. In 2008, Handsome Devil released Fully Automatic (2008), featuring songs 10 Seconds Ago and Getting You Off. Supporting their releases with seven national tours (with the Used, Social Distortion, and Lit to name a few), the Vans Warped Tour, radio shows, and a live television performance of Makin’ Money on The Late Show, Handsome Devil became a lean, mean, touring machine. In 2021, Handsome Devil celebrated the 20-year anniversary of Love and Kisses from the Underground, by playing the album live.
