After a light pop album with which Belgium discovered her in 2013 (“Let them Talk”), mostly via the hit single "Paradise", Noa Moon felt like going further and longed to cross some borders. So in 2017, she presented “Azurite”... Many will say this album translates a musical maturity and they might be right, although this expression is often misused and distorted. Manon has grown up, she changed and redesigned her wishes. “Azurite” is like a mirror reflecting your inner self while also letting the light come through. A mineral, cold and blue, made of grey areas but quite bright too. While writing down her 12 new tracks, Noa Moon listened to Sylvan Esso, James Blake, Kevin Morby, Warpaint, etc. A new desire to blend front electronic sounds with intimate guitar and voice sounds was born.
