Hauptman is a musician, who sticks to the rule “less is more”. He draws his own music and leaves the colouring to his band. He is not the type of singer, who would care much for the technique and perfection – the right feeling and efficiently delivered messages of his songs is what counts In his music one can sense the influence of jazz, alternative R’n’B, soul and pop music. With his relaxed grooves he wants to stand out and differ from the majority of modern pop musicians, therefore he doesn’t use typical arrangement and harmonic approaches. His music is a mosaic of different genres joined into a unique image.
