Junior comes from a strong background in music. Junior’s maternal roots stem from American Samoa, while his patriarchal side originates from the friendly islands of Tonga. Junior started singing in his home town of St. Petersburg, FL at age 5. Junior acquired his ability to take any life experience, sit down, and write a song! “On This Day,” & “The Voice,” were 2 of those composed back before he was even 17 yrs old! By 19 years old, Junior had released a top selling album in Hawaii. He recorded with the likes of Fiji, Kapena, & (bass guitarist) Freddie Washington to name a few. After a break in recording music Junior came back to music in a big way. In April 2016 Junior was featured on an album by JTM “Im not a Rapper” their hit song "Motivation" hit #1 on itunes Rapper charts and Billboard New Artist charts. Juniors versatility and heart felt lyrics dedicated to his deceased brother resonated with listeners. His following single release "When Im Gone" his most successful to date, hitting #5 on the itunes Reggae charts within 48hrs. It has over 5 million views on YouTube. Junior Maile's style is an eclectic mix of Reggae, R&B, Gospel and a little bit of County in one. Junior recently completed a Reggae EP “Lovers Rock” with the 1st single "Island Girls" released in Aug 2020. It has already been streamed over 300k times world wide. Those that followed Juniors music career early on are still big fans of his and his unique talent is gaining him a whole new audience.
