Colorado’s Avery Henderson, aka Falcon Punch, wraps up a 2-year stretch in the studio with new single ‘Giving Up On Love’, a piano-led chill house banger blending a consciousness of former egrets & a positive future into the soundtrack of a Balearic sunrise. ‘Giving Up On Love’ is mixed by one the UK’s most respected producers TIEKS & released through eOne Music UK alongside such electronic heavyweights as Riton, Boston Bun & TIEKS. “I wanted to challenge myself to make a track with as few electronic instruments as possible. What would House sound like if it was made by a 70/80's rock band?” reveals Avery. “The result was ‘Giving Up On Love’ - a smoldering piano-driven song caught between lamenting the failures of the past while hoping for a better future” I've spent the better part of 2018 - 2019 in my studio crafting my next body of work. It’s funny how you can toil on a song for ages while another will come together in the span of an afternoon. ‘Giving Up On Love’ is a record that I feel is going to help define the direction my music will be going for the next year and beyond. Falcon Punch has toured the world including headline dates in Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Taiwan, 3 dates at Colorado’s prestigious 9.5K capacity amphitheater Red Rocks, shared with the decks with Jax Jones, Kaytranada, Tensnake, Cut Copy & will continue to spin at the world’s best parties throughout 2020.
