Los Huaycos started in Oakland but is made up of 3/4ths Peruvian. The word Huayco comes from the Quechua, it means depth/valley and refers to landslides caused by torrential rains in the Andes. Ex members of 90s Peruvian outfits Asmereir and Metamorphosis with members of Experimental Dental School playing somewhat psychedelic hardcore surf thrash skate punk noise stuff. You might find these guys skating a curb in Oakland sometimes.
