Decades into a remarkable career that has spanned seven albums and countless pieces of honest, inward, and elegantly narrated music, it's only now that DRS is sharing music with the world that is the purest reflection of himself. With 2022 marking two years sober for the Manchester-based MC, DRS's latest album on Shogun Audio acts as his most unadulterated body of work to date. Having championed merging emotive wordplay with the complex rhythms of drum and bass music, DRS' five solo albums, as well as two collaborative LPs with MC Dynamite and LSB, have gone some way in cementing his reputation as one of the most unique, talented, and iconic lyricists to ever grace the drum and bass scene.
