Biyografi
Wieże Fabryk (Factory Towers) were founded in Łódź in 2000 with the line-up: Adam Studziński - guitar, Krzysztof Trzewikowski - drums, Czarek Wielesik - bass, Tomasz Kaczkowski - vocals. A year later they recorded a demo and started touring outside their hometown. In the following years the band gained a reputation of the frontrunner of the new generation of cold wave / postpunk thanks to the cold, driving music and lyrics of a unique, distinguishible poetics. In 2010 Wieże Fabryk released their first full length „Dym” („Smoke”), and three years later it's follow-up - „Cel i światło” („Purpose and light”). Both records document band's progress, but also consistency and faithfulness to the chosen sound. For nearly a quarter of a century, Wieże Fabryk have been playing and creating in an almost unchanged line-up (with the sole change happening in 2005, when the original bass player Czarek Wielesik was replaced by Adam Sitarek). Their discography also features: three semi-official concert releases („Kopalnia 2001”, „Koncert Aurora 2007”, „Live From Outside Fest 2017”), a split with Tanzkommando Untergang and a compilation of live recordings entitled „20” published on the band's twentieth anniversary. Due to the interest in the Wieże Fabryk music, both of their studio albums have recently been reissued with the demo also getting a new pressing on a professional CD through Hasiok Records.
