The infamous Director of ROOL Records, Turkish born and London raised rapper Ghenghis OTT (aka Merlin or Springheel Jak) uses ominous melodies and hard-hitting bars to deliver an effortlessly dark, deep and driven style of British rap. Focusing on past memories and his working class upbringing in London; his songs blend new-school sounds from his home city with a unique mix of storytelling in Turkic and British dialects. 
 The youngest in a large family of military personnel, Ghenghis' heritage & personal experiences have clearly seeped into his music. With a collection of flashbacks, the “Enter The Dungeon!” EP released on Halloween 2020 prior to his debut on BL@CKBOX TV, opening the first chapter in the saga of tracks to come. Soon after, North Of The Wall and 15 BILL$ released on GRMDAILY. 
 In 2022, he released “Canis Canem Edit”- his debut album comprised of 22 tracks. A month later, he opened the doors to ROOL Records and rapidly grew it to include 30 members and 10 recording artists worldwide in its first year. In September the same year the first “Resting On Our Laurels” cypher was released. After headlining at SOK (Kings Cross), Ghenghis headlined his first big events at the O2 Academy and Brixton Jamm with casts of ROOL UK members and starting acts.
