"Duke Skellington" is an artist and producer spinning on the forefront of the global "Future Swing" music movement. His style is a synthesis developed from pioneering electronic music like (insert dope classic drum and bass that shaped you here), dance-heavy big-band swing & hot jazz from the 1920’s and 1930’s, and lo-fi avant-garde soundscapes that lift your mind to the clouds. The result is a unique experience of music that unites the past and future. Duke Skellington fashions music for the uninhibited dancing soul that lives and loves in the present moment. Duke Skellington is the music producer for both the Vaude Villainz and Duke Skellington music projects. The Vaude Villainz recent record “Voodoo Swing” was released in early 2017 with Ragtime Records and was #2 on the Beatport top selling Glitch Hop albums. The Duke Skellington "Devils, Dames and Debauchery" EP is dropping with Ragtime in 2020, and will be expanding on his signature futuristic and vintage music sound. He also co-hosts an Electro Swing Podcast called “Jitterbug Jukebox”, and is part of the label boss team at Ragtime Records.
