based out of LA but frequently in Oslo :D Denver born artist and songwriter, Claire Nichols has been writing songs since just 13 years old. She moved to Norway immediately after high school where she studied pop songwriting at LIMPI (Lillehammer Institute for Music Production and Industries) under direction of the Stargate production team. As an artist, she deftly mixes her own melodrama and lyrical intimacy into quirky, hook based productions. Having released six songs since finishing the program in May of 2022, and breaking into spotify charts such as Norway’s Viral top 50, she moved to Los Angeles in January to continue pursuing a career as a writer. Since moving, Claire has headlined celebrated venues such as The Mint, and the Lullaby Loft and played showcases with Breaking Sound and Sofar Sounds. Most at home in session environments, she is known for her speed, lyrical precision, and strength of concept.
