“There's a guy called Kent Osborne, who has got a hyperpop element but it's more trap and emo rap that runs through it. I really like all that kind of sound at the moment. He's definitely one to watch. He's really cool.” - Oli Sykes , Kerrang Kent is known for his unique style of Rap that has a heavy influence from Punk, Metal, and Grunge. By having this wide range of musical influences, it creates a distinctive style of music that falls into the Genres of Trap Metal, Alternative Hip Hop, and Punk Rap. The Atlanta native migrated to Nashville in 2016, before relocating to Los Angeles in 2020. Osborne grew up playing music and learning various instruments, all while being surrounded by the rich history of the Atlanta music scene. Some of his major influences on him have been artists such as Rage Against The Machine, JPEGMAFIA, & Odd Future. When Kent hits the stage there's electricity that instantly hits the room, which makes fans in the crowd instantly want to move and create a mosh pit instantaneously. His performance comes from direct inspiration from the rawness and grittiness of punk music.
