My name is S. Reidy and I'm here to say I love Cocoa Pebbles in a major way Slowly but surely I'll be fine but lately patients is a fail mission Split decisions leave me frozen from the waist down My hearts small, my heads loud I've fallen short of fallen short enough to make a man of cowards My expectations of my self will be the death of me (death of me) Do they indulge in my endeavors? Cuz they better be What is mental anguish if it's not a one way ticket to the top? Risk a biscuit don't get caught How long can pasty solemn sissy songs pay the bills for? Guess I'll see this therapy's essentially why I'm here still Narrowly carefully over sharing these conclusions Make it easy on the ears, remind yourself you can do this I'll be your captain for the chorus Strap in tight, close your eyes, better bumpy ride than boredom You'll be fine And you'll be safe And you'll be fine And you'll be safe I'll be your captain for this ride You don't have the time to bide Cuz either way you're gonna die Plus, you'll fine fine And you'll be safe And you'll be fine And you'll be safe Here's a poem about a thing I saw one time A man is walking down the street, he's looking beaten down by life And there's a spider on the ground, a spider outside I'm on a coffee shop patio, it's 2:45 When out the blue this man gets angry and starts yelling at the bug "What is wrong with you, you demon haven't you not taken enough from me? Crawling on the grass, and you don't ask me how it's tough to be Alone in this dark world you think that's how it's supposed to be?" This when on for awhile, flames were shooting out his mouth Yelling bad words and slurs all of which I'm leaving out But at the end of it all he stomps the spider out of spite Ripped apart all is his legs, hocked a loog and yell "good night!" Wow, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't staring Eventually realized that, I hoped he wouldn't care But then he yelled across the road "what are you looking at"? He started to walking towards me, angrily, then something happened What I saw with my two eyes is something I could not make up He takes a couple strides and then gets smacked up by a bus It's takes like 45 minutes for some help to arrive They lift him off the ground and gets taken for a ride True story, it felt like Shakespeare in the park An omen or a token of some wisdom to embark I think about it daily, all the meaning it evokes Was it profound or was it dumb? I think a little bit of both
