Originally bursting onto the Australian music scene in 2005 as a finalist on The X factor, and again in 2007 on Australian Idol, Jacob Butler had zero intentions of being written off as a pop-star wannabe. After independently releasing his debut single "Coma" in 2009, Jacob made the leap to Europe in 2012 with his debut LP "Reason", signing multiple licensing deals including V2 in Benelux, Universal in Poland and EMI In Greece. With impeccable songs and a crossover Alt/Pop sound that blends guitars and synths in equal measure, Jacob Butler is a household name in waiting.
