Risky Business formed in Skerries in the mid 1980s and for a number of years played gigs on the Dublin circuit as well as a number of local venues. Their original brand of pop rock brought them to the attention of the music press at the time and following favourable reviews of their Baggot Inn residency, they recorded a couple of tracks for Crashed Records which were released on compilation albums to critical acclaim. Shortly afterwards, the band went their separate ways, but over the following years, they toyed with the idea of doing something together again. Eventually, after an eighteen year gap, the band reformed a couple of years ago to play a charity gig and they’ve been at it ever since.
