Emotional deep tropical flavours. Born in Palermo as Giuseppe La Barbera, Joey is an indipendent Italy-based DJ, Producer & Artist. His career began in 2013 when he bought his first djing controller and his first music sequencer. Soon after he discovered a new world, that quickly became his strongest passion. At 16 years old only he released his debut single 'Bright Dawn', forthwith supported on Hexagon Radio 069, renowned Don Diablo's weekly music selection and played by Mr. White during his set at the unreal Sensation Russia 2016. On May 2016 he teamed up with his friend Johnny Rez, producing the song that is going to give him the best surprise so far. With over 10 millions combined streams on SoundCloud, YouTube & Spotify, the melodic deep house cover rendition of Charlie Puth's classic 'Attention' has been, beyond a shadow of a doubt, Joey's springboard. Follow up remixes of Wait, Bad Liar & One Kiss went viral as well; Achieving millions and millions of plays accross all platforms, his sound captured fans all around the world. Tastemakers like Mr Revillz, House & Chill Nation supported his vibes since day 1. His relaxing and melodic deep house adaptations got the likes of Calvin Harris, Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, Charlie Puth and not a few of world's top DJs and radio.
