Sarah Mootz is an empress of her emotional condition and carries this out through her confident vocal belts and honest-heart wrenching lyrics. Her love for music started when she recognized the power it had to pull her through any situation. It grew dramatically when she found a passion to write what was deep in her heart, fearlessly and melodies to go along with. Drawing from her intimate stripped down performances, compelling full band shows, and iconic pop releases like “The Dog” her debut album “Eat Your Heart Out” is a unification of what Sarah does best. Featuring collaborations with Elijah Johnston, and Jacob Mallow while working alongside We Bought a Zoo’s Tommy Trautwein at Tweed Recording Studio she’s crafted a sound that can not be duplicated. Her hometown Athens calls her a “Local Legend” as she’s sold out The Georgia Theater Rooftop and supported acts like Vista Kicks, Habibi, Sam Burchfield, and Plastic Picnic.
