People R Ugly is a pop-punk band based in LA. Members include Zak Dossi, Bill Biers, Julian Del Grosso, and Tristan Kevitch. Drummer Tristan had a dream of playing Los Angeles, without a band, or any original songs. Having spent two years reaching out to various venues, eventually, it was the iconic Whisky A GoGo in West Hollywood that answered with an open slot. With no band, Tristan had to quickly find bandmates, produce a name and original songs, and rehearse – he found Zak on Instagram, who then introduced him to Bill and Julian and within five days they had sold out their very first show. The story unfolds on YouTube channel Seek Discomfort which has so far racked up almost half a million views. Since starting a year ago in LA, they’ve played over 20 shows across LA and have sold out the Troubadour, Whiskey A Go-Go (twice), The Peppermint Club, the Viper Room (twice) and Emo Nite.
