In 2016, four friends from the Northwest suburbs of Chicago came together to start a band. Embracing the nostalgic sounds of early 2000s pop punk, Glory Days was born with the intent of creating music just as moving as their scene heroes. James Pickering (vocals/guitar), Vince Gannon (vocals/bass), CJ Jarmuth (guitar) and Jared Tousey (drums) finalized the lineup in 2017, becoming known for their lively personalities onstage and off. The band’s music focuses on the personal challenges of growing up and confronting one’s inner demons. Finding inspiration in the songwriting of The Starting Line, Yellowcard, The Flatliners, and Green Day, Glory Days sheds light on mental health issues and personal growth through punchy guitar leads and emotional vocal performances. Their debut EP “The Roads We’ve Traveled” was recorded by Seth Henderson (State Champs, Broadside, Sleep On It, Knuckle Puck) and acts as their strong introduction to the scene. Songs like “Bottom Left” and “Divided” tell relatable stories through a classic pop punk lens. Their latest release "Left Behind” melds the familiarity of the warped tour scene with bursts of refreshing pop melodies that are destined for arenas. Glory Days hopes to make you feel something.
