Originally from Paris, Colaps is an internationally renowned beatboxer/beatmaker. His beatbox finds rhythmic influence of a drummer but also electronic music such as Halftime, Trap, Drill, Hip-Hop, Electro, Dubstep, Drum and Bass... His beatmaking compositions find influences of Hip-Hop and traditional Asian music, which makes his tracks unique in their kind. He focuses since its inception on the competitive aspect of beatboxing. Participating in many battles, he wins the title of French Champion in solo and team with "End of The Game" in 2017. He continues in his momentum in 2018 where he wins two international battles that propel him to the forefront of the world beatbox scene. In 2020, he qualifies to represent France at the very famous international competition, the "Grand Beatbox Battle", in the solo category, but also in the Tag Team category with his partner River' with whom he forms the duo "Rogue Wave". After many months of pandemic, he returned to the world stage at the end of 2021 where he finally won the 1st place of the "Grand Beatbox Battle" in solo category and the 2nd place in the duo category with River'. Now Colaps combines content creation, music creation, livestreams, solo gigs and band gigs with "End of The Game" and "Rogue Wave" with whom he has the chance to play at Glastonbury 2022 festival. He also judges many competitions around the world and gives workshops to pass on his knowledge and experience from 13 years of practice.
