Shehyee is a Fliptop champ and hit Filipino rapper who first garnered recognition by joining and battling in the rap battle league FlipTop for several years. Aside from exchanging sharp verses in the said competitions, he later rose in the Pinoy rap music scene and eventually released several singles and an album. He is known for his 2013 hit singles "Trip Lang" and "Inspirasyon" from his collaborative album released in the same year. For his comeback this 2021, Shehyee touches on a hot topic on his latest single entitled “Aba Ok Din.” In this mid-tempo hip hop track, Shehyee enumerates the ways in which men get the short end of the stick, so to speak. This expletive filled banger is biting in its P.O.V. but fetching in its sonic qualities. Also it is a collaborative effort from Shehyee and Thyro Alfaro who arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered the track. And today, his summer vibe track, "Samalamig" from 2016 is making its second wave on different platforms. Here, Shehyee serves head-boppy beats that will surely make you dance on the dancefloor and underpins a lyrical delight that complements the rest of the record.
