Biyografi
From Ireland, Words That Burn have been fusing elements of melodic metal and alternative rock loaded with crushing riffs and soaring choruses since 2013. Taking influence from bands such as Deftones, Bring Me The Horizon, Korn, Architects and Parkway Drive, Words That Burn compiled their debut album ‘Regret is For The Dead’ album (2016) of hook laden tracks which saw the album chart at No. 1 in the Irish iTunes Charts. 2018 saw the first offering from the second album “When We’re Forgotten” go straight to No. 1 in the Irish metal & rock iTunes charts supported by two tours of Europe including shows at Revolution Festival in Romania & Aggressive Festival in Czech Republic. The bands second album ‘PYRES’ was released summer of 2019 and produced two No. 1’s for singles ‘Arise’ and ‘Riptide’ before many live shows which included dates with Alien Weaponry & Beartooth. 2021 saw Words That Burn play Bloodstock Open Air (UK) and release the first single “Den of Lions from their forthcoming third album. 2022 then saw the release of ‘You’re On Your Own’, ‘Fire At Will’, and ‘Play God’ and a main support with metalcore titans As I Lay Dying. New album ‘Cut Throat Culture’ (March 2023) was produced by Josh Schroeder [Lora Shore, King 810] and sees the Irish four-piece embrace a variety of styles that range from alternative, to metal-core, and electronic fusion, creating a body of work that, if anything, is totally unique to the bands core sound.
