Like a lightning out of the clear blue sky. A punch in the face when you’re already blinded. Tough, straightforward, uncomplicated and action filled. All mashed together. Amplified grabs you by the feet, turns you upside down and shakes you to the point of euphoria. Amplified was born 2013 when two bearded guys and a smooth faced drummer took the stage in front of hundreds of students on a college beer festival. A year later they released their first EP ‘Trouble Time’ and the single ‘She’s Bad’ was played regularly on radio stations around the world. With their mix of hard, riff based rock, catchy choruses and a ‘on or off’ attitude, Amplified are seen as one of the best, undiscovered live acts in Sweden. Landing them opening acts to bands as Hardcore Superstar and Corroded. 2015 they released their second EP named ‘The Rock Coalition Begins’. It was a call to arms to all rockers that are tired of the mass produced bubblegum music the industry is constantly spitting in our faces. The song ‘Hit the Floor’ also got some well earned air time on several radio stations. With several single releases since then and intense gigging Amplified is now working on their biggest collection of hard hitting tunes so far, their debut album.
