Kingdom Jasmine has been many things–a studio project, a New York bar band, a Youtube supergroup–but its most constant voice has always been that of singer-songwriter Bob Barrick. He has busked thronged streets. He has played empty pool halls. He has made appearances at festivals across the country. He has warmed the stage for Grammy nominees. He has felt a million eyeballs on him on the Internet. And still, he is as the title track from his forthcoming album says, a local nobody, holed up in Broadway Sound Studios in Boulder, Colorado.
