Travis Dupri began his rap career working with the young Jeremy Winans, nephew of the talented gospel artists, CeCe and BeBe Winans. Travis went on to release over five very successful mixtapes and albums, gaining a loyal fan base throughout: Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. 
 Having success in the secular music industry brought many temptations; temptations that Travis wasn't spiritually equipped to battle. Towards the end of 2013 and 2014, Travis found himself in a dark and lonely place of confusion after succumbing to the desires of his flesh. Fast forward 2015, Travis had planted he and his family in a church home and was feeling better than he'd ever been. He was beginning to know and experience God in ways in which he'd never experienced. With his new found joy and peace, Travis no longer desired making music to glorify himself and the world. It was at that moment, God reignited Travis's desire to create music, but this time, it was for His God’s glory.
