Murphy is a 29-year-old Swiss/Congolese singer. 
 He was born in the suburbs of Bern, where his parents found a new home after fleeing their homeland in the early nineties before the civil war. 
 Murphy has been interested in music since his early childhood. At the age of 20, he decided to get involved with music professionally. He has now found his musical identity. His lyrics are in Swiss dialect, French, Lingala, English and Spanish, which thrusts him into the international spotlight. 
 Beyond his work of music, Murphy is also the co-founder of the clothing brand Killa.
