Shining from Houston, Texas, Nodfather is one of a kind. Beginning their as a rapper with Ja' LaDon back in 2011, they knew music was their only path of true expression. Being raised in a household full of genres from Country to R&B, Nod fell in love with the sound of the east coast/ midwest approach to Hip Hop. After studying the greats such as J Dilla, Madlib, and Big L, they began to dive deep into how Hip-Hop was produced in the "golden years". After 3 Years of perfecting their own production style and sound, Nodfather released his Debut album Entropy on March 30th, 2018; following the success of their breakout single Trust (feat. Cloud Mac). As 2018 stumbled on by and the deaths of Mac Miller and XXXTENTACION came and went, Nodfathers' sound took a calculated approach to the way their music affected their listeners and fans, which can be seen in their projects Everybody Has Their Own Demons and Tarot. Now 2019 is coming to a wrap, Nod is preparing the release of his second album "The Hanged Man". Listen to the singles Wytd and Dead Heroes (Over Me) off the upcoming project. With introspective lyrics and hard-hitting production, their versatile sound is here to stay and evolute with time.
