Aida Cuevas, also known as "The Queen of Ranchera Music” with a 47-year artistic career, this Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winning singer has released 41 albums, selling more than 11 million copies worldwide. Aida Cuevas is a master of the Mariachi art song, offering a full range of mariachi numbers including her falsetto heavyweight “El Pastor ” and "La Cigarra". Known for her stunning vocal range, Cuevas has toured internationally since 1976. In 2018, she became the first female singer in the mariachi genre to ever win a Grammy. An esteemed figure, she “is to Mexico what Aretha Franklin is to the United States: a powerful voice that encapsulates the essence of her nation’s spirit” (The Kansas City Star). Her unique voice and style have allowed her to cultivate a successful career spanning decades, leaving a remarkable imprint in the history of Mexican and Latin American music.
